Misleading movie synopses

A while back, I saw a listing from a television programming guide that read thusly:

The Wizard of Oz:  Transported to a surreal landscape, a young girl kills the first person she meets and then teams up with three strangers to kill again.

So, with a nod to the ultimate spinners in the White House (nobody can obfuscate like them), and in the spirit of Friday fun, I decided to come up with a few of my own:

The Godfather: a World War II veteran returns home to New York to help his aging father run the family business.

Jaws: an oceanographer, a cop, and a crotchety old salt team up to try to land the biggest fish in the waters around a small New England town.

Dr. Zhivago
: a respected city doctor destroys his marriage and family in pursuit of a high-society harlot.

The Exorcist: when therapy and discipline prove insufficient, a frustrated mother finally turns to her priest for help in counseling her misbehaving daughter.

Caddyshack: caught in the middle of a conflict between a corrupt judge, a menacing groundskeeper, and two eccentric millionaires, a confused young man struggles to maintain his identity.

Jurassic Park: when complications arise, an old man's dream of building an amusement park is cruelly dashed by nay-sayers.

See ya at the movies!

Don't forget Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: Having failed dismally as Santa's helpers, two unlikely characters shirk their responsibilities for a life of adventure. They eventually find their way home after capturing, defanging, and removing from it's natural environment, an endangered arctic animal.
