The meltdown continues: Sarah takes a turn!

"I just can't wait to be President!"
If there were any doubts as to why the McCain campaign has been managing Sarah Palin's interactions with the media so tightly, Sarah dispelled them all with her embarrassing performance on the CBS Evening News on Wednesday. Take a look at these gems!

On the Wall Street bailout:

Uh... yeah, Sarah. I... uh... I see what you mean... heh. (The look on Katie Couric's face as she listens to Sarah flounder is priceless.)

On her foreign policy experience:

Um... yeah... I... uh... well... (If this had been a boxing match, they would have stopped it at this point.)

On Rick Davis (McCain's campaign manager) and his conflict of interest with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, and on McCain's record as a (supposed) champion of finance regulation:

Oh, Christ! This kind of performance doesn't need any commentary.

Embarrassing. Just f**king embarrassing.

This stuff would be hilarious were it not a tragedy in the making.

Plato in his Republic warned us that democracy would deliver idiots like McCain and Palin.

But I think that even Plato would be shocked to see the Republicans bring McCain up after Bush!

Be well brother. You may just be right about the outcome of this election after all.

Peace,

If McCain gets elected, she will be 1 heartbeat away from being the president of the most powerful nation in the world. It wouldn't be so bad if McCain weren't a 72 year old with a record of cancer and mental illness (PTSD). His remaining heartbeats could be dangerously few. His refusal to release his medical records looks like he's trying to hide something big.

A sick old man and a bimbo are the most electable duo for the GOP. What's that tell you about the American masses?
